When his Clownfish son, Nemo (Alexander Gould) is captured by a deep sea diver, overprotective father, Marlin (Albert Brooks) sets out to rescue him, alongside Dory, a regal blue tang with short-term memory loss (Ellen DeGeneres.)
With stunning underwater scenery / animation and memorable inventive characters, Finding Nemo is a Disney Pixar masterpiece.
The dialogue is frequently funny with DeGeneres getting most of the best lines as forgetful Dory. The turtle sequence is great fun and the Jelly Fish scene is beautiful, yet appropriately menacing.
Poor Nemo has been thrown into a dentist's fish tank, alongside other fish (each one with their own distinctive personality) and they must work together to escape, to avoid the clutches of the dreaded brace faced Darla (LuLu Ebeling), the dentist's niece.
The seagulls are hilarious. “Mine, Mine, Mine.”
Genius, as good as movies get (animated or otherwise.)
