In response to the successful That's Entertainment (1974) picture, That's Carry On! was produced.
Kenneth Williams and Barbara Windsor are on hand to introduce clips from the Carry On films (1958 – 1977), a series of popular British (seaside bawdy type humour) comedy films.
Some of the clips are funny, such as, “Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!” from Carry On Cleo (1964), which will never stop being funny, others fail to hit the funny bone.
The clips taken out of context don't really work unless you've seen the films. Therefore, this is more for fans of the franchise who want to relive some of the best moments from the series, due to nostalgia.
Williams and Windsor are enthusiastic enough allowing clips to segue into the next, with jokes aplenty, but some are a little odd such as Williams needing to go to the toilet!
Clips from Cowboy, Spying, Screaming, Doctor, Up the Jungle etc. are shown.
