Firefighter Cooper (Josh Hartnett) takes his excitable daughter, (mega fan) Riley (Ariel Donoghue) to see Lady Raven (a fictional Pop star, a very good Saleka Night Shyamalan) at a large concert venue. While there, the merchandise vendor (Jonathan Langdon) tells him the building is on lock down, surrounded by police and the FBI, because they know The Butcher is there (a prolific serial killer.)
M. Night Shyamalan's thriller is intriguing and suspenseful for its first two acts (basically anything inside the venue) before becoming far fetched and silly in its final act.
You'll be asking yourself questions like: how did he get changed so fast? How did he get out of there with no one seeing him? How did he get into the house? Why are the FBI (led by FBI profiler Hayley Mills) so dumb? Could you really build a tunnel like that?
But regardless, this is still a fun ride (with a clever idea) and it's more than watchable - it's entertaining (at least at the beginning.)
